Church Bells

Can anyone relate to this?
Church Bells

The church bells call the faithful,
To gather, sing and pray,
Cleanse your soul, repent your sins,
The church bells seem to say,
Come to church my children,
Sing your songs of praise,
And you will walk in heaven,
Upon your judgement day.

So the faithful will all gather,
To repent their dreadful sins,
They will ask forgiveness,
And sing their praise to Him,
But promises are forgotten,
When a new day does begin,
And good intentions they all had,
Are carried in the wind.

So the church bells call the faithful,
To praise His only son,
The Hypocrites again will pray,
And repent the deeds they’ve done,
But it is all for nothing,
The praises they’ve all sung,
For pity and compassion,
Die when morning comes.

The Loving Cup

The Loving Cup

So we start our new life journey,
On this roller coaster ride,
Through the valleys of disappointments,
And the hills of exciting highs,
We’ll face whatever comes our way,
We never will give up,
And everyday we’ll take a sip,
From the loving cup.

I’ll hold you in the evening,
When the sun has left the sky,
I’ll hold you in the light of day,
When the night has passed us by,
I’ll hold you every single day,
Through the smooth times or the rough,
And everyday we’ll take a sip,
From the loving cup.

As the silent wheel of time revolves,
And seconds turn to days,
Together we’ll build sweet memories,
Picked up along the way,
Memories that we can share,
Just the two of us,
And all because each day we’ll sip,
From the loving cup.

We’ll bring new life into this world,
We’ll teach them right from wrong,
We’ll give them all that we can give,
We’ll keep them safe and strong,
And you and I will battle through,
Those times that will be tough,
But everyday we’ll take a sip,
From the loving cup.

And when our show is over,
And the lights begin to fade,
We’ll recall those memories,
Of our younger days,
And in those final moments,
When the curtain falls on us,
Together we’ll take a final sip,
From the loving cup.
